2013 - WELCOME BACK

Welcome back to the Room 6 Blog.  I hope you all have had a great break and are ready to continue your learning in 2013.  I am really looking forward to hearing about your holidays.  This year the children will have new sets of responsibilities, as the seniors in the school and it will be great seeing the children rise to the challenge.

There will be a new look Blog starting shortly – set up and designed by the children. 

It looks like being a busy first 4 weeks (shortened by Waitangi Day next Wednesday) with the Weetbix Tryathlon in Week 2  (57 Haumoana entrants so far), School Picnic and ‘Meet the Teacher’ evening in Week 3 and Interschool Cricket Competition in Week 4. There has been a change to the Saturday cricket start date - it is now the 16th Feb.

Enjoy your last few days of holiday, get started on your tryathlon training if you have not already and I will see you 8.55am Monday.  The start of the year is looking great weather wise so remember to bring your togs and hats. 

Summer orienteering has started and it would great to see a few more of you out there on Wednesday evenings.  Good luck to those who re competing in the Ironkids Triathlon at Ocean Spa this weekend!
