Haumoana Hawks [ Room 6]

Netball Team

On Thursday 4^th of May 2012 the Haumoana Hawks faced Poritt for their first match of the season of netball. They played at Onekawa netball courts. The game started off well with the Hawks scoring the first goal. Poritt soon caught up tying the score to 1 all. The Hawks did some good intercepting and soon got the ball down their end   of the court, to score yet another goal.

Quarter time happened and their spirits were raised with the pep talk.  Their good work continued and they got 2 more goals before half time. But Poritt raised their score to 3.  Once the whistle had blown it was half time with Haumoana leading 4- 3.

 Once the other half had started they were back in the game but Poritt had increased their attack and defence. Haumoana was finding it hard to break through their defence. With great skill Haumoana pulled through to score their final goal just before the whistle blew for the last time.

 Haumoana had done it again!!!!

Victory was theirs!!!
