There was a fantastic turnout from Haumoana students at the HBOC event held in Te Awanga on Sunday morning. It was really satisfying to see the improvement in confidence from all children, resulting in some significant time gains and placings. Being a local event, ex-students featured in the top 10 making the Haumoana School overall results even more pleasing.

Mr Consistency - Will T - finished in a podium place for the 3rd time in 4 events (6th has been his worst result) but is still searching for the win. Sam W from Room 4 took out the win.

Year 4 students - Lily , Jack , Cameron and Phoebe are also showing great potential.

The HB School Championships are next weekend. This event is an individual event but is also contributes points in a competition between schools in which we have placed or won in each of the last 3 years so all results are important.

Start times and directions will be sent home later this week.
