Five fortunate children from Room 6 have been selceted to take part in a Technics Lego programme on Wednesday afternoons. The first challenge was to build a land yacht to be powered by a hairdryer, then experiment ith sail size.
After a post event discussion, the class has decided that they would like to build their own version of a land yacht. This time the groups will constructing their yachts from recycled materials. W will be involved in learning about the physics of friction plus wind power..
Remember to collect as many plastic lids and containers as you can so we can start work on Tuesday!
